Emma Watson

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born to British parents Jacqueline Luesby, a lawyer as well as Chris Watson, a teacher in Paris, France. She relocated to Oxfordshire when she was five years old and went to the Dragon School. Emma was aware from the age of she was six that she would like to be an actor. Over the course of several years, she was a student at the Oxford Stagecoach Theatre Arts branch in which she was taught singing, dancing, acting and much more. At the age of ten, Emma had already been taking part in Stagecoach productions as well as school plays. Casting began in 1999 Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone 2001, the film adaptation by J.K. Rowling's bestselling book. Casting agents found Emma through her Oxford theatre instructor. After eight continuous auditions David Heyman informed Emma and Rupert Grint that they were given the roles of Hermione Granger as well as Harry Potter. Emma's first appearance on screen in cinema was with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001). It was also the most successful film of 2001 , both in terms of its opening-day and weekend take-homes. The film's performances as well as those of its three young stars were well-received by critics. The Daily Telegraph, a British newspaper with a substantial circulation, praised her performance as "admirable". Emma received the Young Artist Award as Leading Young Actress in the Film Film, and was later nominated to win five more prizes. After the debut film in the hugely successful franchise, Emma became one of the most famous actresses in the world. For nearly ten more years, she was the role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone 2001, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets 2002, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban 2004 and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire 2005. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix 2007 and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince 2009, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 (2010) and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (2011). Emma has been nominated twice for Critics Choice Awards by the Broadcast Film Critics Association.
