Miley Ray Cyrus is an American performer, actress musician, actor, and songwriter. Her distinctive raspy voice, her music combines elements from a variety of styles and genres, including pop, country pop, hip hop, experimental and rock. With a total thirteen entries, Cyrus is the female artist to have had the highest number of US Billboard 200 Top-five Albums in the 21st century. The controversy surrounding her private life, public appearances and performances has frequently generated media attention. Cyrus was born to Billy Ray Cyrus and became a teen idol when she played the title role on the Disney Channel television show Hannah Montana (2006)-2011. Hannah Montana's top-ranked and third-five top five soundtracks, in addition to the US Billboard Hot 100 Top-ten single "He Could be the One." Cyrus's discography also includes the US number-one albums Meet Miley Cyrus (2007), Breakout (2008), and Bangerz (2013); the top five releases include Can't Get Tamed (2010) Younger Now (2017), Plastic Hearts (2020) and the album for free Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz (2015). "Party in the U.S.A." was certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
