Annie Wersching Bio

 Annie Wersching (born March 28, 1977) is an American actress best known for her performance as Renee Walker in the American television show 24 as well as her voice and motion capture for the character Tess in Naughty Dog's video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was raised in the city. She went to high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis which she graduated from in 1995. She competed in Irish dance throughout her childhood and was a part of the St. Louis Celtic Dancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching began her acting career as a guest on Star Trek: Enterprise. Then she went on to be a guest star on shows like Charmed Killer Instinct, Charmed, and Supernatural. She played Amelia Joffe, a recurring character on ABC's Daytime soap opera General Hospital from March 2007 to November 2007. Her other theater credits include Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching has also been seen in a variety of guest roles on shows such as CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli & Islands Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. She also appeared as a regular in the series of Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching was a catcher on the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game and 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends. Wersching was also the voice in the role of Tess in The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. Geoff Keighley teased her character via Twitter before she was announced in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7th the 7th of December, 2012. Wersching was set to take on the character of the Borg Queen on Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
